Eleanor Patton is a member of the Colonie Art League, Bethlehem Art Association and the Greene County Council of the Arts. Her paintings have gained wide acceptance in private collections and juried exhibits leading to awards and several solo shows in galleries, estates and other venues. In addition to pastels, pencils and watercolors, the collages are abstract elements with a semi-realistic approach--as a result, each viewer will see something different.
Eleanor's love of ballroom dancing has led her to include dance images in her paintings and also into wire art. Here various beaded neckaces carry a dancing couple made from one length of wire flowing form one figure to the next. Larger copper images have been made for wall decor. Note cards are also available based on Eleanor's paintings.
